(how is this for a new thread?)
It is not the freshest news. But it is still breaking, people are still absorbing it ,and it all till needs context.
The filthy greedheads and the doomed can't have exclusive rights to this news territory. The insane and the loyal opposition must have their say as well.
My take - the Russian armada is going to bomb the living fuck out of Aleppo. Not so much to help Assad as to show they can still break shit, and still matter in one of their few areas of influence outside of Russia.
"Sweeden????" Cripes dude. Don't leave yer scrivner behind!
It was pretty glorious to be inSapmi land with the Sami....even though the air was filled with the sounds of snowmobiles from recreational Europeans. Reminded me a bit of the feeling I got when we visited Hawaii - we are colonialist here.
That was a pay to play thing. But we are looking for ways to bring people with us to residencies. Still trying to find the money to remount DBS.
"Guns will make us powerful; butter will only make us fat." Some other fat guy said that. Then he reached for his Browning. Cos he had both. And didn't have to kiss anybody's foot for SNAP coupons.
"How do we measure the effectiveness of our program?" You should have asked that before the GWOT(tm). Oh yeah... I remember now: "...freedom isn't free." How about: "...justice is more than just us?"
It's been going on forever: if we do social programs, we won't be safe from the nignog-nasties. It's really getting *quite* old. Especially to peeps who rememberLBJ's gunz and butterzzzzzzzz... (mah fellow murkins...)
Check this link out... only if you're brave. WARNING: the video gave me an acid flashback.
Too bad 'The Portsmouth Chaps' don't have a wider audience. It's nice to experience a thorough examination of global politics presented in such a calm manner without the typical hysterics associated with western media.
Unfortunately, this is typical of what's being reported in America's news media...
I'm truly embarrassed to be an American. I feel no allegience to the country or sympathy for people that live here. It's a ship of fools headed for the rocks.
Barrel bombs are fine but chemical weapons is a "red line". Oh the logic of killing escapes me.
