typical of dominionist krakkkerland. yep- i saw it right away.

anyplace else somebody would carry it to the US Supreme Court... but here they thump on the "Constitution" the same way they thump on their "Bibles." don't read it or understand it... just use it to make noise.

besides... the SCOTUS would probably uphold it and other nazi puppo governors would follow suit... just like our mean bitch initiated union-busting.

Something huge–huge and not good–just happened in Indiana, which will be little more than a blip in the propaganda that passes for national news. The Supreme Court of Indiana just ruled that in Indiana, if a police officer decides to illegally come into your house, you’re not allowed to do anything to stop him.
There should be a completely new paradigm after the die-off... but who knows? The voices who cry in the wilderness are challenged enough surviving their own times. Posterity is a problem that has to work its own way out. I be burrowing into it now, brother pan.

Watched the documentary, "William Kuntsler: Disturbing the Universe" last night. He mentioned the Haymarket incident as one example in many of government repression. He also called the American legal system an illusion designed to promote the idea that the peeps have access to justice. Nothing new there. But his involvement in some of this countries' worst examples of oppression during his life, might provide some inspiration. For example: Kuntsler was involved in the civil rights movement, the…

Here's the trailer (which IMHO, is pretty weak in conveying the true substance of the movie)...
OK......so Ms. Medusa wasn't feeling the whole Haymarket/Pullman theme. She did some research of the West Loop neighborhood, starting with the deaths of poor black folks during the 1995 heat wave and found that the area has undergone successive waves of immigration of differently identified/speaking folk who (dis/re)placed the previous residents whose centers of communities included Churches and Saloons.

The most recent displacement was initiated by the U of I locating its Chicago campus there and the gentrification of the neighborhood into a trendy "Loft" area complete with Harpo Studios! (Oh Oprah!) When the blacks moved in (around 1916) the succession of European groups (Greeks, Irish, German, Czech, Pole, etc) were helped in their choice to join in the white flight by the hiring of "blockbusters" by unscrupulous realtors (kind of puts the neighborhood Block Buster store in a new context). This succession was fought by the introduction of restrictive covenants which were later found to be unConstitutional.
I'm liking this thematic material - fits very well with the Tacoma stuff we collaborated on before - and very timely given the AZ uproar. These guys think it will.tag:realbc.ning.com,2010-05-14:1497000:Comment:284732010-05-14T05:14:39.303ZBOhttp://realbc.ning.com/profile/BO
