I haven't read Trial and Kafka aint easy to begin with... but there is definitely a pattern.
The fatties had to trump up WWI and the next 90 years of nationalistic kill-fest to throw the heat away from themselves and the obvious truth: there will always be more of us than there are of them.
The labor movement will live again... after we stop being pre-occupied with the die-off'
There should be a completely new paradigm after the die-off... but who knows? The voices who cry in the wilderness are challenged enough surviving their own times. Posterity is a problem that has to work its own way out. I be burrowing into it now, brother pan.
Not sure you can look at 'labor' independently from the overall tyranny that results from a corrupt government that gets its marching orders from business--not the people it governs.
It's worse now than the last period when robber barons ruled the earth. Now, there's no separation between them and government. The regulatory function of government has ceased to exist. The constitution has been scrapped and replaced a system of repression by proxy. The peeps have no recourse except to revolt.
Wake me up when this fucker is hung. Til then, it's all reruns.
It's a rerun all the way back to the US Civil War... and before that to the "revolution" (the first US civil war) and before that to the English revolution and the Magna Carta.
Tabbi is excellent... even if I sometimes get annoyed at his lock-jaw support of the official 9/11 narrative. The idea that "...the law in America is subjective, and crime is defined not by what you did, but by who you are." has been the probing-point all over the world (not just US) for at least 500 years.
The pigs dump on the proles... and half the proles support it because they wanna-be pigs. As long as the illusion exists that some of them can pork up to the trough, the trick will work. That illusion is breaking down now.

Something huge–huge and not good–just happened in Indiana, which will be little more than a blip in the propaganda that passes for national news. The Supreme Court of Indiana just ruled that in Indiana, if a police officer decides to illegally come into your house, you’re not allowed to do anything to stop him. According to “Justice” Steven David, resisting an admittedly “unlawful police entry into a home” is against “public policy.” Got that? If you live in Indiana, and a cop decides to invade your home without a shred of legal justification, it is considered a crime for you to do anything to stop him.
typical of dominionist krakkkerland. yep- i saw it right away.
anyplace else somebody would carry it to the US Supreme Court... but here they thump on the "Constitution" the same way they thump on their "Bibles." don't read it or understand it... just use it to make noise.
besides... the SCOTUS would probably uphold it and other nazi puppo governors would follow suit... just like our mean bitch initiated union-busting.
