We don't need another / a new discussion to prove it.

It is as it is.

Mouse, where did you post the photo - I don't see it.
On my page on this forum, in my photos.
Mouse honey, maybe I'm alittle slow, but which photo,
and may I say you do take beautiful photos?

My daughter is in the hospital, she stepped down wrong off a stool at her work and really fucked up her ankle. She dislocated it, tore all the ligaments, broke both bones on either side. They're waiting for the swelling to go down before they decide if surgery is necessary. Poor kids, they like everyone else have no insurance. She just called mid comment, surgery tomorrow.
Goodness, poor thing, does she have arnica and vitamin C, they help with healing; not to mention good food, hard to come by in a hospital. What a shock for you all. I trust all goes well tomorrow.

On my page press 'view photos' and you'll see the one that's missing. I've added "this photo" in caps, it's the latest addition. It always goes wrong when I try to be subtle. It's just something I didn't want to shout about, being one of those sorts of things. I hope you'll see what I mean and possibly comment there if you like.

Thank you littleoldme, it can be dangerous to compliment me, sometimes I go into a tailspin, not something I was accustomed to till I came here and found appreciation.

I saw this and it was too sweet not to post so here enjoy..........

The Hummingbird

This guy found this baby hummingbird after it was attacked, and he nursed it
back to health until it decided to stay and be his pet. Very charming video,
and be sure to have your sound on. The song in the background is almost as
good as the video itself. ENJOY :-)

more to the story here.  if you want to know how it turned out.

Lovely story!  Need lots and lots more of that.
That was great. What a great world this would be if that was an example of typical human behavior.
Lake Geneva must wait. No matter what happens, I can't leave this area, these people, my friends, family, house, my cat. I'll have to find another avenue to learn French. Oui oui. Had I moved to the north shore, I would have taken all of you with me, but I would have had to leave too much behind. Funny how things work out. I toyed with the idea for a good while but the day I announced I would be staying, I saw smiles all around me. It was the right decision, no matter what happens. Nobody, but no body at all stood in my way. Everybody was supportive but I had a feeling it was the wrong thing to do. Time will tell.

Old houses, I like old houses even if they are .....tilting. Old houses like people. No, old houses NEED people.

No go, Lake Geneva. Not with meva. Not yet. Not yet.
Brilliant news, so pleased. Precious precious friends.
Sometimes wish I had some here in England. Making hoummous. Sun shining.

Yes, real treasures they are. I'm not very social but as it turns out, I actually do have a number of friends and tenfold aquaintences. Oh dear, how do we spell that word?

Lately, the sun shine on England while it pisses on central Europe. Not a bad trade off! Did I ever mention.....My wife and I spent two weeks in London & Coventry and had sunshine each and every day! And I spent one week up in was used to be North Riding toward the end of May and had 20°C and sunshine each day. Well, one day it did rain and I did get wet but I love the rain. Wanted to get me a pair of real Wellingtons while there but was shocked at how expensive they are.
