The Trump win is definitely surreal. I figured the media/industrial complex had this one in the bag and a Hillary win was assured. But as Corbyn has said, this was an anti-establishment vote. Hillary was rejected because the dems had become the party of the one percent. They could have won easily with Bernie, but he wasn't a wallstreet puppet. That said, when Bernie was rejected by the DNC, I ceased to care which candidate would win the election. I voted for Stein. 

Surprised that the DOW is up today. Maybe a Trump win was planned from the Beginning. I really don't think much is going to change.

I really don't put anything past the established players.  The thought that the fix was in for Trump crossed my mind. The fact that the majority of white women voted for Trump according to exit polls is really, really odd given the way pre-vote polls went.....but then, exit polls haven't been seen as reliable since W "won" in 2000, perhaps the GOP have figured out how to "fix" exit polls.

Maybe, just maybe, the DNC will finally get it that the Sanders insurgency wasn't due to his charismatic presence but due to the fact that the electorate reject the Clinton/Obama/Clinton "New Democrat" philosophy.

Have you ever fantasized about offing yerself because your sick and tired of dealing with idiots? That's how I feel today. The media continues to promote fear and loathing, evangelicals are having orgaisms at the thought of closing all Planned Parenthood offices and the fake left continues to wonder how promoting a crook for president could have failed so miserably.

It was all so entertaining up until yesterday. Now reality is setting in and those dark clouds are moving in again. Fuck.

Yep.  Especially yesterday.  Oft thought of the Hunter Thompson headache pill.  This won't hurt.  But left the .45 behind along with most carnal things when I crossed over to Zion and such.  Flying Jenny takes most of my time, and the rest is spent gawking at the Nazis.  Like a Wiemar Republic Jew.  Holy fuck they might spot me.  But what can they do?  These guys are stupid and incompetent beyond belief.  "Believe me," they're "winners."

It is what it is.   We must bear the unbearable.   We must endure the unendurable.  They wanted a Bush-Cheney do-over only stupider.  They got it.  It is our Karma- we must accept it.  Let them dig more coal mines and lay more pipelines.  There's nothing we can do to stop them... other than violence... and then we'd be digging our own mines and lines.  It's time to put our Birkenstock-clad feet off the beaten path and go raise heirloom tomatoes, watch birds and read Jane Austin novels.  It's time to get out of the way.  Slipcraft.   Time to make our peace with God. 

 

Whatever you call higher power, the planet is leaking methane and the cascading effects have begun.  They can deny and we can hope we are wrong.  The wind and heat will take its course.  We will reap the whirlwind.  Reaganomics™ 1.5 is what they have in mind, and they remember it quite differently than we do.  We weep for the Ghost Dancers, and they will mock us when we do.  The methane will hit the fan, it will smell like rotten eggs, and they’re going to blame it on us long haired hippie commie fags.  Plenty of jobs in the mines and private prisons. 

 

Best not think of that.  As Taibbi says, “Therefore they are irredeemable and there's nothing to be done with them but eliminate them.”  Each side thinks that way, but the Almighty has Her own porpoises.  The oceans will continue to die.  So will neoliberalism.  The planet will continue to cook.  They want jobs.  Michael Moore nailed it.  Better the Devil you know than the Devil you don’t know vs. Anything’s better than This.  We chose the lesser weevil. They chose Anything.  Now we must be ready to endure anything.  Anything can happen. 

 

Voted for Nader.  Voted for Stein.  It’s not easy being Green.
