Obviously meant as sarcasm, the article mocks the eco-socialist commie-pinko liberals who want to destroy the 4th of July, Mom and apple pie.

Part of my data science studies I learnt that AI (artificial intelligence) is due to make huge inroads into the "internet of things" in elderly frail care ... Japan was mentioned in particular .... if I make it to elderly frail care which seems unlikely, they are talking about it being a reality in my life time.
