It is not the freshest news. But it is still breaking, people are still absorbing it ,and it all till needs context.
The filthy greedheads and the doomed can't have exclusive rights to this news territory. The insane and the loyal opposition must have their say as well.
My take - the Russian armada is going to bomb the living fuck out of Aleppo. Not so much to help Assad as to show they can still break shit, and still matter in one of their few areas of influence outside of Russia.

Maybe Tiedrich gave up on his dream to emulate the Daily Kos but the shift away from enforcing Party loyalty at the Chimp has been palpable.
A lot of so-called progressive sites were nothing more than shill factories for the democratic establishment. Especially The Guardian. May they all die a slow and agonizing death.
The Guardian was a respite from the banging on war drums on American media immediately following 9/11. It has devolved considerably since then.
The war with Russia has been called-off. At least until Neocons figure out a way to get it going again.
