They keep coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches. They eat away at the foundation of civilization. They lie, cheat and steal. They think the world owes them something they don't deserve. They get away with murder.

Who are they?

There are neighbourhoods here where you know you are safe if you are being robbed.  It means you are recognized for your useful contribution to the neighbourhood & are appreciated.  The pawpaw only hits the fan if you call the cops .... that's breaking the rules of the game.

How did rhetorical mythos contribute to the American-Vietnam war?  

The Marxian perspective sees the obvious toxic capitalism.  Compostmodern says we all gotta breathe oxygen.  Sure there are thugs in all colors.  I had some as students.  Made passable writers out of most them.

Had a 4th grade teacher tell me not to waste time on one of her students "His brother is a felon and he is going to be one too". Kid turned out to be one of my biggest success stories.  I made him line leader.  Gave him some responsibility and trust.  He felt valued.  He stopped acting out.  He became responsible.  He worked hard and took pride in his accomplishments.

That is, of course, one of my huge downfalls in dealing with the cesspit that is humanity - I tend to see the potential for better and then those mutherfuckers stab me in the back.

Yep, Pan ... big downfall.  I think I'm busy overcoming my own challenges in that arena - I got called "perfectly horrid" yesterday.  I take that as a sign of progress .....
