It is Remembrance Sunday here.

Mist.  War memorials robbed of their brass engraved with names of the parish dead.

 Masked and veiled anonymous witnesses in darkened rooms ask us to bomb their homes and families. And all the soldiers and families of the sovereign nation we have blotted out aren't counted nor their ruins and tears.

Veterans Day was "celebrated" on Friday - basically all that means is that the mail wasn't delivered and the banks were closed....a couple letters to the editor - it was once known as Armistice Day but, when it became clear that "the war to end all wars" didn't and the US needed a steady supply of cannon fodder it became much more advantageous to "celebrate" veterans of the many, many military adventures to come (while not providing them the promised benefits).

Western world governments have been fully corporatized. National sovereignty doesn't exist. We all work for the global banking system, now. Some of us even get to kill for it. Those of us not part of the one percent, are simply fodder for the system. Civil war or global war, the one percent still wins.
