Yeah... and it's been out there FOR YEARS. At least the dude has been able to implement his vision on a grander scale... IN CHINA. Meanwhile, we'll be hearing the usual crap about "the Chinese are burning coal...' yabba yabba blah. The Chinese have been dealing with the "carrying capacity' problem FAR longer than the US has... and still we hear, "yazbut" the Chinese are... yedda yedda blah.

Because predatory Capitalism is God (or so we've been taught)... we continue to "focus on our core competencies" (translation: starve all but the fattest cash-cow... which we milk 'til it's a dried-up raisin)... which is why we're selling "credit hours" so students can get their tickets punched for shit like "Human Resources Management" and I have to explain why "Literature" is NOT "useless." "Because this is what 'employers' want..." because the CEOs SAY that before they go off to play golf and "network" with the other rich fatties.

No reason at all to stop teaching students that "critical thinking" is "truth tables." Except as one former Nazi explained... the academics like anything that's complex.. the SS flotte like anything that says they're superior... the rest of us would never believe in such dummheit. Yep. We make money "teaching" people HOW to be stupid.
