Bags are packed. Made it back from the annual bike meet-up with a slightly bruised rib, tennis elbow right side, evil hangover, soaked to the bone after being caught up in a large storm.....my bike was a mess. Tomorrow morning, shortly before 11 a.m. ...if all goes well and if permitted, the journey begins. Not quite true, is it? The "journey" is ongoing. I was out and about since thursday evening....only stopping to sleep, to eat, to drink, to relax and laugh. If we look at it correctly, we're always ...constantly in the middle of a journey. The scenario changes every once in a while. I'm still learning. It's this learning curve...this is my journey. Once one stops learning, the journey is over.

hey, if he found dust he isn't in hannahland. It has been raining here nearly every day, though not as much as in iowa and wisconsin. I just drove back from minneapolis via wisconsin and then back through iowa, and saw a lot of the flooding. And one tornado ravaged town in iowa.

oh, and there's no excuse for drinking budpiss. Even here in moline we can get good beer from our little liquor store. And here we park our junked cars in the back yard.

I is here. Not much changed. Still a bunch of broke down cars out front of every house. Not too sure I wants to stay very long. Had one hell of a journey getting here. Ribs still hurt like hell. Probably bruised. Anyway, the 13th is still on....just dont like the smell of pesticides in the bathroom....and the dead bugs an all............damn dust everywhere EVERYWHERE!! And Bud lite. Piss off.

fell over in a drunken stuper while trying to get the hotel door open....hit the corner of the stone steps with the upper left part of the chest area...just under the left tittie boob that aint none. Guess it's just a bruise....otherwise I'd be hollerin...

My upper left part of the chest area also painful ... there's now a left 'tittie boob' there now that wasn't there before .... miraculously constructed out of a flap of muscle from my back. I am home from hospital which is great although I have to admit I am missing the pethedine injections I got each night to help me go off to sleep. Nice to be 'bilateral' again .... and nice to be home again. Doctor warned me about avoiding taking hard blows to the chest in that area so I shall have to avoid Kurt's style drunken stupers -:)
