The current comments on youtube by that last video were breathtakingly ignorant and savage., as is so often the case.

Have been doing my best here, the great and the good are on holiday or asleep. Making progress. Getting a bit braver too.

Conviction growing that virtue is our greatest weapon against this evil. Truly virtue is powerful, trust and respect for each other are tremendously powerful, they build us in all the best ways in minutes and hours, they give us courage and the power of speech when we need it. Tis true, tis true.

I think I might tell you about what I did yesterday.

The day before I'd been going spare, trying to find someone to tell who could do something, everything was so out of hand. Going out is far too eventful, I tell anyone at the slightest provocation. It's been worth it for those few serious listeners.

Then when I was making my tea yesterday morning and listened to the news I heard our Foreign Secretary making such belligerant remarks as astonished me. Too far, amazingly too far, in relation to Russia and Georgia; and the insanity of it, breathtaking. An hour later the BBC was still at it, so I gave in to my intense desire and phoned Lambeth Palace, "I have to speak to the Archbishop of Canterbury." I said.

I don't know if it made any difference. He was on holiday, but I kept on, insisted he must be told, was passed on to a calm assistant who listened as I told her that the BBC is deceiving the public about the Georgian attack and Milliband is really cranking things up, and I thought they were all trying to provoke something dreadful, and she sent me an email to reply to quickly, to send her brief details and links. I didn't listen to the news for a couple of hours.

But when I did listen the Russian matter wasn't even mentioned, nor was the Foreign Secretary.

I wonder.

Russia test-fires Topol missile
Russia’s strategic and space troops successfully tested an intercontinental ballistic missile Topol (RS12M). The missile is designed to avoid detection by anti-missile defense systems. The launch was performed at 2:36 p.m. Moscow time from Plesetsk space port, RIA Novosti reports.

The missile successfully covered the distance of almost 6,000 kilometers and hit a hypothetical target on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

“The missile warhead accurately hit the hypothetical target, having thereby exercised its ability to strike pinpoint targets,” a senior spokesman for Russia’s strategic missile troops, Alexander Vovk said in a statement.

The milkman told me about it this morning, how simple it is to remove London from the map. I asked him, do you know anyone else who is talking about this? He said no. That's what I find most disquieting of all.

How can the Russians do otherwise for goodness sake? They are being framed. We've all seen that being done before.

One of the people I accosted in the street was a former freedom fighter from the age of 12, fighting Saddam in northern Iraq. He didn't know that 9.11 was an inside job, still doesn't, clearly baffled by what I was saying. Put me right, explained that Bin Laden was in Iraq, I told him I hadn't realised and left it at that.

It was an eye opener for me. I thought the word would have got about amongst Arab people by now, about the treachery at the heart of our governments.

The sky was blue for 20 minutes this morning and I saw a contrail, a real one, just like last Saturday. A sweet little contrail disappearing neatly behind the aeroplane. Perhaps they're going to keep chemtrails for weekdays, when everyone's so much busier. That would make sense. Make the whistleblowers look like fools.
