Not likely... as it is getting kinda chatty (like the old SC)... but not cultish like Kos or DU. More folks is gonna be interested in surviving the fucking DEPRESSION... not a "possible recession" for fucksakes. And it folks have a hard time with that... thinking "elections" are real and all... wait until the "laws" (and prison camps) the fascists have ALREADY PREPARED start kicking in.

waldo, thanks for creating the group. I joined today, of course. As an OpEdNews vet of a sort, I'll gladly help where I can in case anyone does decide to join up and start posting diaries or articles on OEN. I can also tell you a few tales about the site. I take pride in being one of the members that helped redefine the borders of just how far one can go with the stuff he posts there. The music video / YouTube group e.g. was more or less a result of me working on Rob until he finally saw the advantage and added that feature. He'll never admit to it, but I also helped bring him back to his senses right after he installed a software-based word censor. I was the one who suggested the software-based censor tool while he and other OEN vets were going for a more traditional approach of manual censorship (people get power and act wierd). With the software version, he's been able to loosen the rains a bit and allow a sort of self-censorship where the software warns you but also allows you to continue use of the word shit e.g. The censor doesn't mind the word fuck. Strange. On and on....I rant too much. OEN has one, maybe two super super advantages .....visibility and er, visibility. The stuff I post there is usually picked up by google bots in a matter of seconds.....typos and all. I've seen my very poorly written diaries show up on a google news search at the top of the list....as if I were a journalist and OEN were the Washington Post. No shit. Another advantage of the venue is the readership: it's neither left nor right, it's both and much more.

I'm tired. Said too much again while keeping a straight face. Ouch.

suggestion....sign up with OEN and warm up to the place by 1st reading things and watching the flow : top (latest) to bottom. It moves quickly. Add comments as you feel compelled to do so. I already have an idea for a new article or diarie but no time or gusto to write it. Subject : re-grounding ourselves / back to life after Wall St.

My day, this wednesday is done. Two beers too many....I'm pissed (UK version). I'll refrain for now. A smile is on my face for what I've accomplished at work these past three, four days. I can't go into detail without taking a risk......let is suffice for me to say, I pissed (USA version) a lot of huffy puffy people off by rejecting a handful US Govt. orders - top prio orders. They pushed me, I resisted, they escalated to Reading (UK version) which was a mistake. US Guhmmet orders - god dammit ! I sayz, based on my Six Sigma, Total Quality Mgt. training, all Customers are King.....no diff. All equally important. Faulty orders = faulty orders. Fixem, quick...udderwize, no new network heah. Ya'all Heah ?

Corporate brainwashing backfired. Guhmmet orders delayed for plausible reasons and US colleagues are left wondering if this has anything to do with Black Monday. Fuggin idgetz. Walkin' goddamn zombie-wolves.

Had my first rehearsal for Train last night. Working with Waldo's words - pick out the juicy ones, free associate, pick one word from the free association and then pair it with a body part/locomotion/spatial word and then create movement. Waldo's poem is the genesis for movement that doesn't act it out but abstracts it into human movement. I'm pretty stoked.

I don't see myself contributing hugely at OEN yet - too focused upon getting the message out here in Tacoma with live performance - it doesn't reach as many but it reaches deeply.
