Just visited the Chimp, as some men have claimed about Playboy, "I only get it for the articles".

Over at the Chimp there are now articles saying things about Israel that I got banned for saying.....even Tiedrich can't cover-up the war crimes anymore......though Cewiller and MissMarple (who I have thought are the same person) are still maintaining the Hasbara ways.  Things don't change much.

Our friend BO has not managed to get himself banned there (rather shocking given your propensity for stating your opinions) and commented on an article about idiot Americans: a non-union construction worker who doesn't get the connection with anti-union business and the business of illegal immigration.  Not only do we need Unions, we need international unions....but then, that would be "socialist/marxist" wouldn't it?

I s'pose if I were to really tell the truth, I'd get banned in an instant. It's not hard to come to the conclusion that a lot of jews are responsible for the resurgence of global fascism. Ironic, ain't it? MissMarple is the typical deluded American whose warped ideas keep the MIC in power. Basically, she's a major hypocritical bitch -- typical of the American left. I actually believe the right has more integrity. They may be idiots, but at least they're consistent.

We needed a full-blown class war about 30 years ago when we still had a few shreds of democracy left. With the kleptocracy fully entrenched now, any change going forward is going to be coupled with catastrophe. As the reasons for the last economic crash have been ignored, and the corruption has gotten much worse, what's to come is going to be much worse than anything we've experienced before -- including the great depression. I've already adjusted my way of thinking to expect much more lawlessness and violence here in US society as the collapse accelerates. A full-blown economic shock is not far away and could very well signal the beginning of the end of modern human history. Sorry to sound so bleak, but if there really is a messiah, he/she/it better show up soon.

Going up to Victoria, BC for a few days to mark 30 years of marriage. Kind of like going to England without the long plane ride. Although, we hope to go to Europe next year before things unravel completely. Hope we aren't too late.

Trying to get out in a tent - lots of rain right now, very odd for here - going to the Sawtooth Mountains but will delay a few days.   Wanna backpack in the Wind River range but holding off - waiting for mosquito population to die down.

Good if you're spending several days in one spot.  These days, it's much easier to use a building.  Even the ruins of one.  Otherwise, much easier to use a tarp... or in my case, an East German Army Rain Cape.  Canvas and rubber.  Not very light-weight.... but durable= wow.  And dry in one of the worst deluges I have ever seen up there  

My pack is bookbag size... and can be easily stuffed with 30 lbs. of shit... but I try to keep it at 20 lbs max... and that includes (NOW) my "laptop" computer.  Had to abandon several items to save weight... not so much space.  The main one was my microfiber cammo rain suit.  Harder to abandon cammies than outside-the-shelter rain protection.  

Guess right now I would rather remain invisible than dry.
