We don't need another / a new discussion to prove it.

It is as it is.

Let this "fred" (discussion thread) live under the theme .......

Oh it's to easy to kick Krugman...and all free-market "economists" whose math makes mythos

"Once you’re aware that the Dunning-Kruger effect is involved, it’s anybody’s guess, really, who is more incompetent than whom."

The affect happens when more rewards come from the "ultimate meaning" instead of "...a practical understanding of the way things work in the world."  Consequently, it makes you dribble out things like...

"Money is stored labor.  Labor is part of human life. To devalue money is to debase life itself."

So stuff your pockets with turds and everybody will respect your shit.  Or as one commenter put it:

To devalue money is to debase life itself"

"Therefore stored money (all you so called "investors/financial wizards/banksters)is the definition of modern slavery. DICKS!"

"Money is stored labor.  Labor is part of human life. To devalue money is to debase life itself."

It is as though Marx's analysis never existed....

In simpler terms, the current system we have now is designed to ensure the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor. As theorized by Marx. Although I'm not sure which brother it was.

Harpo, for sure.

“All things are subject to interpretation; whichever interpretation prevails at a given time is a function of power and not truth.”

~Friedrich Nietzsche

Where's Waldo?

Starting to worry, give us a line.

i was wondering, too!  give us a sign!

Not Waldo - but I'm still out here.  On the road visiting my sister in the urban jungle of Johannesburg - job hunting, negotiating city traffic, scared witless by millions of people.  Well - to be accurate I WAS on the road with my dogs, planning to drop them off at boarding kennels en route, when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere about 100km from home.  Dogs & I spent 4+ hours in the blazing sun waiting for arrival of rescue mechanic by which stage quite a gathering of curious locals, goats, cattle etc. had accumulated to watch proceedings.  Size of dogs kept me safe but size of dogs did not help staying hydrated - that's the last time I leave home without at least 25l of water in the car.  That was Saturday.  Once rescued & back home I thought I would just write the trip off but my sister had arranged my job opportunity interviews & insisted that I arrive - I don't argue with my sister - she's an advocate at the Jo'burg high court.  So with a lot of assistance I got dogs attended to, lifts to airport, borrowed cars .... and made my first office appearance in a year.  Today is the anniversary of my "resignation" - I can't believe a whole year has gone by.

Interview went well but unless I am lucky enough to get freelancing distance work I may end up having to relocate from the coast and adjust to urban life after 18 years of rural freedom.  Arghhh .... but I have decided to be brave about it ....

Glad to see at least you two still around Pan & Hannah ... Is it only Waldo who's "missing"?  I still often wonder where Curt went .... cyberworld is a bit loose-ended that way ....
